They quoted towards the higher end of the contractors I spoke with but came with a 10 year guarantee (with the option to pay to have this guarantee insurance backed which I wanted) whereas the other contractors who quoted didn't. Time keeping was an issue towards the end of the project but I would use them again based on the end product that was delivered."

"We recently had our loft converted by The Loft Converter (TLC) and we couldn't be happier. We originally kept seeing the TLC smart cars and vans driving around and initially thought as they seem to be so well established that they might be a bit pricey however we couldn’t have been more wrong. We had 4 quotes in total from other loft companies such as rooftop rooms and 2 independent builders and to our relief TLC offered us the best quote. Bradley came round and answered all of our questions and reassured us that he would make sure we would get the best service and finish ( Bradley wasn’t like your average builder, he was patient and wanted to make sure we were happy with the choices we made ). Within 3 weeks the work had commenced and we were advised our lovely loft would be complete in 5 weeks. They builders were very clean and tidy and cleaned up every evening before they left. I must admit they were very hard working and seemed to take pride in there work. Once completed and we had made our final payment we were surprised to recieve a call from Bradley asking if he could come round just to make sure we were happy with everything and see if there were any extra bits we would need doing. We decided to get some fitted wardrobes built and they were completed within 2 days to an excellent standard, Bradley also gave us a discount as he said he likes putting a smile on his customers faces. We would highly recommend Bradley and the rest of the TLC team and are so happy we chose to have our loft built by them. "The Loft Converter are an honourable company with great integrity, who ultimately produced exactly the space we wanted in our loft. We would advise other customers to use their full service, from planning to design to completion. We made the mistake of involving an architect of our own, who created nothing but problems and put TLC in the position of having to increase their costs early in the project, to take into account the architect's inaccurate drawings, resulting in having to raise the roof. However, after that massive hiccup, about which TLC were mortified, all went smoothly and was largely completed within their estimated time scale. The snagging process took rather longer than strictly necessary, but was all done to our satisfaction before we paid the final bill. We have no hesitation in recommending their services."

I had a loft conversion carried out by TLC in July 2016 in north London. I have had various lofts converted over the years in other properties however this one was a much larger project as the roof is much bigger with the whole centre taken away and replaced with a dormer whilst also replacing the complete existing roof. To most people this can be a fairly daunting experience on you as your home is decapitated however from day one I can honestly say that Bradley and his team were absolutely so fantastic and professional that everything was so well run and organised that any worries or reservations were immediately banished as the process took place. Anyone thinking of having a conversion should just sit back and enjoy the experience as each day develops seeing the wonderful work of his great craftsmen and team. I would definitely recommend getting a tin roof while the work is carried out if the roof is to be exposed as the cost is relatively cheap for peace of mind. Also any extra work I found TLC did at a very reasonable price so don't be shy to ask Bradley as you won't regret it down the line. For example, I got extra spot lights, a built in wardrobe, extra tiling, painting and decorating etc that were not in original quote but we're all done as extras but at a really fair price I believe. Finally, the finish and look of the conversion completely integrates perfectly with the house and is probably the best thing that we have ever done to our home and only wonder why we didn't do it sooner. Thank you Bradley and everyone at TLC so much for constant and complete courtesy and professionalism throughout.
From start to finish, TLC, namely Bradley Pattemore was professional to the core. I was quite worried about getting my loft converted, having heard many horror stories about things going wrong. However, I needn't have been. TLC gave me an honest quote and deadline, which they stuck to. The service was personal. I was put at ease in regards to the planning permission. I didn't expect to have a fantastic new loft, finished to such a high standard within in such a short space of time. I will definitely be recommending this great family business. Thank you TLC.
